Gravity die casting

Now in our second generation of owner management, we have been gravity die casting since 1965.

We cast parts with copper (Cu, CuCr1) and copper alloys (brass, aluminium bronze) according to EN 1982, as well as aluminium alloys (AlSi, AlZn) according to EN 1706. You can procure your finished cast parts from us fully assembled coated with silver, lacquer etc.

We are certified according to ISO 9001: 2015 and meet the requirements of ISO/TS 22163 (IRIS).

Our group of companies manufacture at four locations in Europe and Asia under the direction of the company headquarters in Eichstaett.

Our company offers apprenticeships in the following professions (m/f/d):

Plant I — 85072 Eichstaett:

  • Tool mechanic — specialising in mould technology
  • Product designer
  • Industrial clerk
  • Merchant - wholesale and foreign trade

Plant II — 97618 Wuelfershausen / Saale:

  • Precision mechanic

Our materials

Recyclable materials for sustainable designs realized in gravity die casting

Copper / copper chrome

Electric currents are transmitted with extremely low resistance in castings of pure copper.

For additional strength requirements, a CuCr1 alloy is used.

Brass / special brass

CuZn alloys score highly as a cost-effective construction and conductive material, especially in mechanical engineering.

Complex and thin-walled geometries can be cast ready for installation using steel cores.

Aluminium Bronze

The importance of high-strength CuAl alloys is considerable when used under cyclic load.

Corrosion resistance, even under oscillating stress and seawater resistance, opens up a wide field of application.

Aluminium

Vibration and impact-resistant construction elements can be cast as a corrosion-resistant solution in AlSi alloys.

Castings made of an AlZn alloy are characterised by good strength without heat treatment and can be machined and welded.

The MKB PLUS service package
